Enter-Comm ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles information when you use our mesh intercom service.

By using Enter-Comm, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Don't Collect

Enter-Comm is designed to minimize data collection. We do not:

• Collect or store your voice communications
• Track your location on external servers
• Create user accounts or profiles
• Collect personal identifying information
• Use analytics or tracking services
• Share any data with third parties
• Display advertisements

3. Information Processed Locally

The following information is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

3.1 Voice Data

When you use push-to-talk, your voice is captured by your device's microphone, encoded, and transmitted directly to other devices in your group via WiFi Direct. Voice data is:

• Transmitted in real-time only
• Not recorded or stored
• Sent directly between devices (peer-to-peer)
• Never routed through external servers

3.2 Location Data

If you enable the GPS radar feature, your device's location is:

• Used to display your position relative to group members
• Shared only with other devices in your group
• Transmitted via the local mesh network
• Never sent to external servers
• Not stored or logged

You can disable location sharing at any time by turning off the GPS feature in the app.

3.3 Nickname

The nickname you choose is stored locally on your device and shared only with members of your group to identify you during communication.

3.4 Group Codes

Group codes are generated locally and shared between devices to enable private group communication. We do not have access to your group codes.

4. Permissions We Request

Enter-Comm requires certain permissions to function:

4.1 Microphone

Required for push-to-talk voice communication. Audio is only captured when you press the talk button.

4.2 Location

Required for two purposes:

• WiFi Direct: Android requires location permission for WiFi Direct peer discovery
• Radar Feature: Optional GPS tracking to show group member positions

4.3 Nearby Devices / WiFi

Required to discover and connect with other devices running Enter-Comm via WiFi Direct.

5. Data Security

Since all communication occurs directly between devices via WiFi Direct:

• Data never travels over the internet
• Communication is limited to devices within WiFi Direct range
• Only users with your group code can join your group
• No data is stored on external servers that could be breached

6. Children's Privacy

Enter-Comm is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. The app is intended for use by adults and teenagers participating in group outdoor activities.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
